Hexa People is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to elevate Flowin, our SaaS-based e-invoicing platform, focusing on API and integration testing, and contributing to CI/CD pipelines and cloud operations with a DevOps mindset.

You will design automated test suites for APIs using SoapUI, collaborate with product and engineering teams, and help improve test coverage across REST, OpenAPI, GraphQL, and microservices.

Qualificações

• Solid API testing experience with SoapUI (functional, load, and security).
• Understanding of API design principles (REST, OpenAPI, GraphQL) and microservices architecture.
• Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
• Experience with other testing tools (Cucumber, Selenium).
• Hands-on experience with modern test automation frameworks including SoapUI, Playwright, and Cypress (preferred).
• Performance testing experience with JMeter.
• Experience integrating automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins) using bash scripting.
• Database experience with SQL (Oracle, PostgreSQL); NoSQL exposure is a plus.
• Familiar with messaging/queueing (AWS SQS/SNS, GCP Pub/Sub).
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP), Kubernetes, and serverless architectures.
• Experience with IaC tools: Terraform, AWS CDK, Pulumi, Ansible, Helm.
• Comfortable in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban).

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, and maintain automated test suites for APIs and integrations using SoapUI and related tools for a high-performance software solution
• Engage with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Contribute to backend development, infrastructure (IaC), and CI/CD pipelines.
• Drive continuous improvement in test coverage, automation, and quality assurance processes.
• Work closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to define and deliver features.
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies and agile planning processes.
