Job summary

Jobgether in Portugal is seeking a Senior Software Quality Engineer to own quality strategies across a cloud infrastructure platform. You will design scalable testing frameworks for backend services and UI, and embed automated checks into CI/CD pipelines.

You will work closely with engineering and product teams, leverage AI-assisted testing, and help ensure reliable releases in a remote-first, fast-moving environment focused on Kubernetes and AI workloads.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in QA, software testing, or test automation, with senior level experience.
• Programming in Go, Python, or JavaScript with automation frameworks.
• Experience designing test strategies for backend and UI.
• CI/CD integration experience with GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
• Experience using AI-powered tools for code/design reviews and test planning.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes environments and distributed systems.
• Excellent problem solving, analysis, and debugging skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead scalable automated testing frameworks for backend services and UIs.
• Define end-to-end test strategy across services and features.
• Collaborate with engineering and product to raise quality standards.
• Integrate test suites into CI/CD to deliver rapid feedback.
