Job summary

Jobgether SRL, on behalf of a partner company, is seeking a Senior QA Engineer in Portugal to lead a next-generation quality engineering program for AI-powered healthcare software. You will define QA strategy, build scalable automation, and ensure security, reliability and performance across clinical workflows.

Collaborate with engineers, product managers, clinicians, and data scientists to translate complex requirements into measurable quality standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of QA or software testing experience, incl. 3+ years building automated tests.
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies, risk-based testing, and SDLC best practices.
• Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript with Python knowledge for test code.
• Hands-on automation experience with modern frameworks (Playwright preferred).
• Experience with AI-assisted test engineering and non-deterministic output evaluation.
• Security-sensitive testing and healthcare data considerations.

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end QA strategy and release readiness criteria.
• Architect testing infrastructure for UI, API, performance, and security tests.
• Develop and maintain automated test frameworks for web apps and integrations.
• Automate coverage of critical clinical workflows and AI-powered features.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines with fast feedback.
• Lead exploratory testing and risk-based sprint planning.
• Apply AI-assisted planning, generation, and healing to tests, ensuring quality.
