Job summary

agap2 Netherlands is seeking a senior Python developer to drive the development and evolution of Python-based solutions within a cloud-focused, Agile environment. You will work across the full development lifecycle, independently and with an international team to implement modern cloud architectures.

The role requires at least 5 years of Python experience, strong cloud knowledge (Azure/AWS/GCP), and hands-on FastAPI API development, with professional English communication.

Qualifications

• Senior Python developer with at least 5 years' hands-on experience.
• Strong cloud architecture knowledge across Azure, AWS, and GCP.
• Experience building RESTful APIs with FastAPI.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments and collaboration in international teams.
• Professional English communication; Portugal-based with a valid work permit.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality solutions using Python.
• Contribute to cloud-based architectures and technical solutions.
• Collaborate with developers, architects and other stakeholders in an Agile environment.
• Participate in technical discussions, design decisions and code reviews.
• Troubleshoot and continuously improve existing solutions.
• Follow best practices around software development, testing and deployment.
