Job summary

TFS HealthScience is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead ophthalmology studies from a remote EU base. You will drive cross-functional teams including Site Management, Data Management, Statistics, Medical Writing, Regulatory and Safety to ensure milestones, budget adherence and high-quality delivery.

In this role you will act as the main client contact, monitor performance and profitability, and mentor junior PMs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or similar.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in project management (ideally within clinical research / CRO environment).
• Strong knowledge of clinical trial regulations (e.g., ICH-GCP).
• Proven ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong organizational and prioritization abilities.
• Financial and budget management experience.
• Solid problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project delivery ensuring timelines, scope, and budget are met.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans and timelines.
• Act as the main point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
• Monitor project performance, including financials and profitability.
• Ensure compliance with internal SOPs and regulatory requirements.
• Allocate and manage project resources in collaboration with line managers.
• Report progress and elevate issues where needed.
• Support business development activities, including proposals and bid defenses.
• Mentor junior Project Managers when required.
