Job summary

ZEISS Group is seeking a Project Manager to plan and coordinate cross-functional ophthalmics projects in Lisbon or Setúbal. You will ensure on-time delivery within scope and budget, complying with quality and regulatory requirements.

The role requires 3–7 years in project management, strong planning, risk management, and stakeholder collaboration. English proficiency and experience with MS Project, Jira/Confluence are advantageous.

Qualifications

• University degree in Engineering, Natural Sciences, Business Administration or related field.
• 3–7 years of project management or coordination experience, ideally in optics/medical technology.
• Strong planning, tracking, risk/issue management, and basic budgeting skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management, able to work with technical and non-technical partners.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate cross-functional projects in ophthalmics from planning to implementation.
• Define scope, milestones, schedules, critical paths and resources; maintain project plans.
• Coordinate R&D, Engineering, Production, QA/RA, Supply Chain, IT and partners in a matrix organisation.
• Identify and track risks/issues, define countermeasures and actions to achieve targets.
• Lead meetings, document decisions and present status to stakeholders.
