EWI Recruitment leads a search for a Procurement Manager in Lisbon, Portugal for an electrical engineering consultancy focused on data centres and high-voltage infrastructure. You will drive procurement across MV/HV substations, managing supplier and subcontractor relationships throughout the procure-to-pay cycle.

The role requires 8+ years in procurement within EPC or project-based environments, strong negotiation skills, and ability to lead a growing procurement team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field.
• 8+ years' experience in procurement or supply chain management, incl. 3+ years in a lead/managerial role.
• Experience procuring electrical equipment and subcontracts for MV/HV substations or energy infrastructure projects.
• Experience in an EPC contractor or project-based engineering and construction environment.
• Track record negotiating high-value supply and subcontract agreements and frameworks.
• Experience setting up procurement processes and teams in a growing organisation.

Responsabilités

• Lead procurement strategy, policies, and procedures to support efficient and compliant operations.
• Define category strategies for key spend areas including transformers, switchgear, cables, and civil works.
• Establish and manage framework agreements and long-term supplier partnerships.
• Lead RFQ/RFP processes and supplier negotiations to secure best value.
• Monitor supplier performance and coordinate logistics to project sites in Europe.
