Job summary

CTS Group is seeking a Senior / Principal Software Engineer to own architecture, development and technical direction of complex software solutions for Data Center platforms. You will lead architectural decisions while remaining hands-on, shaping standards and ensuring scalable, secure deployments.

The role requires deep expertise in C#, .NET, Node.js, TypeScript and REST APIs, with strong cloud; Azure, Kubernetes and CI/CD experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
• Senior or Principal level with demonstrated ownership of complex software solutions.
• Strong expertise in C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, Node.js, TypeScript and REST APIs.
• Solid understanding of microservices, distributed systems and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases, data modelling and query optimization.
• Knowledge of SOLID, Clean Architecture and DDD; automated testing essential.

Responsibilities

• Designing, developing and maintaining scalable, secure enterprise applications.
• Lead architecture decisions, define engineering standards and best practices.
• Stay hands-on with development, code reviews, troubleshooting and performance tuning.
• Design and develop APIs, microservices and event-driven integrations.
• Build cloud-native, containerised and distributed systems; manage CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure reliability via monitoring, observability, security and incident management.
• Mentor engineers, conduct architecture reviews and raise engineering standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into production-ready solutions.
