Job summary

Dellent is seeking a Senior Power BI Developer to work in Porto on a hybrid basis. You will leverage the Microsoft BI stack to design and optimize BI solutions, develop complex DAX measures, and implement secure data access models for business stakeholders.

The role requires strong SQL skills, experience with Power BI Service, and excellent English. The opportunity includes a training budget, health insurance, and regular team events as part of a hybrid work regime in Porto.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in BI, Data Analytics or Data Engineering focusing on MS BI stack.
• Advanced SQL: subqueries, CTEs, joins, unions, aggregates.
• Experience with historical data extraction using dynamic date parameters.
• Expert in DAX for complex business logic.
• Strong Power BI Desktop/Service, gateway, RLS, and workspace administration.
• Good command of English.

This project is part of the business investment banking and financial services area, and currently has its technological hub inPortugaland is working on the development of innovative solutions and support for all operations related to the business.

We are looking for aSenior Power BI Developerto work in this project inPorto (Hybrid).

Requirements:

• Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in Business Intelligence, Data Engineering, or Data Analytics, with a strong focus on the Microsoft BI Stack;
• Proven ability to write, debug, and fine-tune complex SQL queries (specifically utilizing subqueries, CTEs, JOINs, UNIONs, and aggregation functions);
• Demonstrated experience in adapting queries for historical data extraction using dynamic date parameters and injecting parameters directly into custom SQL queries;
• Deep expertise in creating both foundational and highly complex DAX formulas to support advanced business logic;
• Strong understanding of Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, gateway configurations, row-level security (RLS), and workspace administration;
• Good level of English language.

Preferred Qualifications (Plus):

• Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300) or equivalent legacy certifications (e.g., DA-100, MCSE) is highly preferred;
• Proficiency in French is a strong asset to facilitate collaboration with French-speaking stakeholders.
