Job summary

McKinsey & Company in Lisboa seeks a senior Product leader to own the product function for data- and AI-enabled products, driving value for clients and the business.

You will lead two Product Managers, translating user needs into roadmaps, partnering with data, engineering, analytics, and AI teams, and shaping the delivery across five teams while maintaining a focus on governance, adoption, and measurable impact.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of product experience owning complex data, platform, or AI products.
• 2+ years managing and coaching product managers.
• Experience in management consulting or multi-stakeholder environments, ideally in retail/CPG/RGM.
• Strong technical fluency to collaborate with engineering and architecture teams on data pipelines and APIs.
• Deep data concepts knowledge including quality, governance, privacy, and data contracts.
• Experience building ML or generative AI products and handling sensitive data.
• Ability to use AI tools effectively to accelerate workflows.
• End-to-end ownership of product lifecycle from discovery to adoption.

Responsibilities

• Lead the product function, roadmap, and delivery of data- and AI-enabled products.
• Manage two Product Managers and develop their growth.
• Collaborate with data, engineering, analytics, and AI teams to deliver platform capabilities.
• Define product vision, roadmaps, and success metrics; translate needs into clear requirements.
• Establish an intake model with owners and commitments and prioritize scalable platform features.
• Drive products from discovery to launch, maintaining client and user visibility into progress and risks.
• Build feedback loops with Client Service Teams to turn learnings into platform improvements; align data contracts.
• Maintain concise, decision-oriented communication and robust operating mechanisms for backlog and releases.
• Mitigate capacity constraints and lead cross-functional initiatives with senior stakeholders.
• Co-own delivery commitments with the Data Architect and ensure reliable product delivery.
