EPAM Systems, Inc. is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer — Agent Gateway Lead for a remote role in Portugal. You will architect the AWS AgentCore Gateway, enforce A2A routing and authentication, and drive secure multi-tenant deployments.

You will work with cross-functional teams to implement scalable gateway solutions, performance benchmark critical paths, and ensure production readiness in secure environments.

Qualificações

• 5+ years in platform or backend engineering.
• Hands-on experience with A2A or A2A gateway platforms.
• Strong OAuth 2.0 authentication and identity-driven routing.
• Python backend development for platform services.
• Experience with AWS-native cloud architectures.

Responsabilidades

• Own the AWS AgentCore Gateway architecture and A2A routing enforcement.
• Design deployment topologies for multi-tenant and single-tenant models.
• Implement routing mechanisms and trust models for agent discovery and invocation life cycle.
• Integrate OAuth 2.0 and SigV4 authentication for A2A channels.
• Develop backend features in Python leveraging the AgentCore SDK.
• Collaborate with platform, security, and orchestration teams on governance.

We're looking for a Senior Platform Engineer — Agent Gateway Lead to join our team in Portugal in a remote working mode. In this role, you will lead the design and implementation of the AWS AgentCore Gateway for an enterprise AI agent development platform. You will architect and enforce the A2A protocol for secure and efficient agent-to-agent interactions, drive authentication and routing models, and ensure the gateway is resilient and production-ready.
