Caixa Mágica Software seeks a Senior PL/SQL Developer to enhance IT solution consistency, drive development and ensure service continuity. The role emphasizes security, quality and scalable architecture within a banking-focused environment.

The candidate will lead technical projects, refactor code, and provide architectural guidance while collaborating with multiple teams to deliver robust product components across environments.

Qualificações

• 6 years minimum of experience in software development and BA/IT environments.
• Proven expertise in Oracle PL/SQL development and database performance tuning.
• Experience with Java and Spring Batch architectures.
• Nice-to-have knowledge of Perl or Python and banking domain familiarity.

Overview:

One of the biggest banks in the European Union is seeking a Senior PL/SQL Developer to contribute to the functional and application related consistency of the IT solution and ensure the service continuity and continuous development. The Developer must perform activities within the framework of projects and/or application maintenance and development seeking it’s continuous development and assuring it’s compliance with Quality and Security guidelines and best practices.

What will you do?

• Coordination of Technical Projects
• Code Refactoring and Application Development
• Architectural Advice and Supervision
• Security tracking and Obsolescence Management
• Support for IT/Project Owner Application Projects
• Code and test software components and parts assigned to them for the technical domains under their responsibility in compliance with development and security norms and standards.
• Help in the design, model and implementation of the product’s solution, as necessary, with the objective of optimize the quality of the code and its future maintainability.
• Participate in the delivery of the product components in the different environments, in close collaboration with other teams whenever necessary.
• Act as a reference in the function and capitalize on the gathered experience to share knowledge, train and coach others.

What are we looking for?

• 6 years minimum of experience
• System Design, integration and cloud technologies
• Background knowledge in Programming languages and frameworks
• Experience in Oracle PL/SQL development
• Experience in database SQL performance and tuning
• Knowledge of JAVA and Spring Batch
• Knowledge of other languages Perl/Python is a nice-to-have
• Knowledge of banking industry is a plus
• Fluent in English
• French is a plus
