Consort Group is seeking a Senior PL/SQL Developer with knowledge of Java to join our nearshore service center in Portugal. You will contribute to both project development and application maintenance, ensuring quality and security across IT solutions.

Location is Lisbon/Porto with a hybrid work model. The role is permanent or B2B, offering strong growth in a dynamic, data-driven environment across European markets.

Qualificações

• Proven PL/SQL development experience with Java as a complementary skill.

Senior PL/SQL Developer

Your mission

Are you an experienced PL/SQL Developer with additional knowledge of Java? This role is for you.

The objective of this position is to bring in PL/SQL-focused profiles with knowledge of Java, rather than Java developers with secondary PL/SQL experience.

As a Senior PL/SQL Developer, you contribute to the functional and application-related consistency of IT solutions while ensuring service continuity and continuous development.

You will perform activities within the framework of projects and/or application maintenance and development, while ensuring compliance with quality and security guidelines and best practices.

Build Side

• Coordinate technical projects
• Perform code refactoring and application development
• Provide architectural advice and supervision
• Support IT / Project Owner application projects
• Contribute to the continuous development of applications

Run Side

• Contribute to application maintenance activities
• Ensure service continuity of IT solutions

Your background

You have solid experience in PL/SQL development, with Java knowledge as a complementary skill. You are comfortable working in application environments involving system design, integration and Cloud technologies.

You are able to contribute to both project activities and application maintenance while maintaining a strong focus on quality, security and continuous development.
