Consort Group in Portugal is seeking a Senior Java/Angular Full Stack Developer to join an Agile multidisciplinary team. You will contribute to both the Build and Run sides, designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using Java, Angular, and related technologies, across multiple squads and domains.

Qualificações

• You have proven experience as a Full Stack Developer, working with both backend and frontend technologies in Agile environments.
• You are comfortable contributing across the full application lifecycle, from requirements specification and development to testing, deployment, maintenance, and continuous improvement.
• Experience in the life insurance or banking sector is considered a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and test applications using Java and Angular technologies.
• Develop and maintain web applications across different business domains and squads.
• Work with Java 21, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Angular, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Develop and integrate SOAP and REST web services.
• Work with relational databases including SQL Server and Oracle.
• Apply Agile and Scrum practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Contribute to the use of AI-assisted development and vibe coding with AI.
• Produce technical documentation in line with defined development guidelines and requirements.
• Maintain and evolve applications with DevOps toolchains and cross-squad collaboration.

Java Full Stack Developer

This is your mission

Are you passionate about full-stack development, modern Java technologies, and web applications? Then this role is for you.

As a Senior Java/Angular Full Stack Developer, you will be part of an Agile multidisciplinary team and contribute to different phases of Agile projects, as well as support and maintenance activities including bug fixing and change requests.

Depending on priorities, you may work across different squads and business domains.

Build Side

• Participate in requirements specification based on user needs.
• Design, develop, and test applications using Java and Angular technologies.
• Develop and maintain web applications across different business domains and squads.
• Work with Java 21, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Angular, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Develop and integrate SOAP and REST web services.
• Work with relational databases including SQL Server and Oracle.
• Apply Agile and Scrum practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Contribute to the use of AI-assisted development and vibe coding with AI.
• Produce technical documentation in line with defined development guidelines and requirements.

Run Side

• Ensure application maintenance and continuous evolution.
• Handle bug fixes and change requests.
• Deploy applications in production and non-production environments.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of applications.
• Work with DevOps toolchains to support application delivery.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary Agile teams across different squads depending on priorities.
• Maintain and update technical documentation.

This is your background

You have proven experience as a Full Stack Developer, working with both backend and frontend technologies in Agile environments.

You are comfortable contributing across the full application lifecycle, from requirements specification and development to testing, deployment, maintenance, and continuous improvement.

Experience in the life insurance or banking sector is considered a plus.
