Match Profiler in Lisbon is seeking a Senior Observability Engineer to join our internal team in a hybrid role. You will design and implement observability solutions for cloud environments, leveraging Datadog and OpenTelemetry, with a focus on Kubernetes and Terraform.

Fluency in Portuguese is mandatory, and English proficiency at least B1 is required. The role offers collaboration across teams and continuous learning in a dynamic IT consulting setting.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent).
• 4+ years in modern observability with cloud tech and automation tools.
• Experience designing observability using open standards; Datadog/OpenTelemetry experience.
• Kubernetes and Terraform skills; knowledge of Azure and GCP.
• Português mandatory, English min B1; quick learner with new tech.

We are currently recruiting, for integration in our internal team/client, professionals with the following profile:

Senior Observability Engineer (m/f) - Hybrid (Lisbon)

What do you need to have:

Hard Skills:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience);
• Experience: Minimum of 4 years in modern observability, with a focus on cloud technologies and automation tools;
• Proven experience in designing and implementing observability solutions using open standards;
• Proficiency with observability tools such as Datadog and OpenTelemetry;
• Experience with container orchestration using Kubernetes;
• Expertise in infrastructure as code, particularly with Terraform;
• Solid understanding of cloud hypervisors, specifically Azure and GCP;
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies and methodologies;
• Experience with other monitoring and observability tools;
• Knowledge of additional cloud platforms and services;
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools;
• Understanding of security best practices and how they apply to observability.
• Previous experience in software development is highly valued;
