Job summary

Decskill in Porto is seeking a Senior .NET Developer with French language skills for a project with a hybrid working model. You will design, develop, and maintain high-quality applications using C# and .NET, and build scalable microservices with RESTful APIs.

You will apply object-oriented design, DI/IoC, and participate in architectural decisions while ensuring robust unit tests, security, and code quality in an Agile team.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong C# and .NET expertise.
• Good understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
• Experience with microservices and distributed systems.
• Proficient in French; good English communication.
• Familiar with CI/CD, testing, and code quality security practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality .NET applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality applications using C# and .NET.
• Develop scalable and maintainable solutions based on microservices architecture.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and distributed services.
• Work with asynchronous communication and event-driven architectures.
• Apply object-oriented programming principles and established design patterns.
• Implement IoC and dependency injection to create loosely coupled and testable applications.
• Contribute to technical design and architectural decisions.
• Develop and maintain automated unit tests.
• Monitor and troubleshoot applications using tools such as Kibana and Elasticsearch.
• Ensure code quality and security through tools such as Sonar and Checkmarx.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile development environment.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement and engineering best practices.
• Help identify and resolve technical challenges in distributed systems.

Required Experience:

• 9 + years of professional experience in software development.
• Strong professional experience with C# and .NET.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming.
• Experience with design patterns and software engineering best practices.
• Solid experience with microservices architecture.
• Practical experience with asynchronous communication and event-driven architecture.
• Good understanding of IoC and Dependency Injection.
