Job summary

KCS IT in Lisbon, Portugal, is seeking a seasoned .NET Developer/Consultant to design and deliver backend applications and RESTful APIs. You will work in a hybrid setup, collaborating with clients across industries, translating requirements into robust technical solutions, and applying best practices in development and testing.

The role requires 3+ years of .NET/C# experience, strong OOP, SQL, and ORM knowledge, plus Git and CI/CD awareness.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience with .NET/C# in development or consulting roles.
• Strong knowledge of C# and Object-Oriented Programming.
• Experience with .NET Core / ASP.NET Core.
• Experience developing backend applications and REST APIs.
• Good understanding of SQL and relational databases.
• Familiarity with Entity Framework or similar ORM technologies.
• Experience with Git, testing and software development best practices.
• Ability to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
