Job summary

Syone seeks a .NET AI Engineer to join a Framework and Research team, building shared services and AI components across products. You will design backend services in C#/.NET, train and deploy ML models, and integrate LLM-based solutions with modern frameworks.

You will containerise with Docker/Kubernetes, deploy on Azure/AWS, and contribute to CI/CD, data quality monitoring and governance in production environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science or related field.
• At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience with C# and .NET/.NET Core.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in Machine Learning, AI Engineering or Data Science.
• Strong Python skills for data processing, model development and ML pipelines.
• Proven experience building, training and deploying two kinds of ML models beyond LLM/RAG.
• Practical experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow and/or scikit-learn.
• Experience with model evaluation, experiment tracking, versioning and production monitoring.
• Experience deploying ML models on Azure, AWS or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of Azure ML, Azure AI, AWS SageMaker, AWS Bedrock, Vertex AI or equivalent.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of MLOps and production model operations.
• Experience with NLP, LLMs, Transformers, Hugging Face or prompt engineering.
• Fluent English and experience in Agile/Scrum.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain backend services using C# and .NET/.NET Core.
• Build, train, fine-tune, evaluate and deploy ML models.
• Work with models including classification, regression, NLP, time-series and anomaly detection.
• Develop ML pipelines using Python and frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow or scikit-learn.
• Develop and integrate LLM-based solutions using GPT, Transformers, Hugging Face, RAG and prompt engineering.
• Deploy models through APIs, cloud endpoints and batch processing pipelines.
• Monitor model performance and data quality in production environments.
• Implement model versioning, experiment tracking and retraining processes.
• Design cloud architectures using Azure/AWS/Google Cloud.
• Work with Azure ML, Azure AI, AWS SageMaker, AWS Bedrock or Vertex AI.
• Containerise apps with Docker and Kubernetes; contribute to CI/CD and MLOps.
• Ensure AI solutions meet security, privacy and governance requirements.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and cross-functional teams; participate in code reviews and documentation.
