Job summary

General Dynamics Land Systems is seeking a Staff Controls Engineer for Mobility to develop and release Controls infrastructure across Mobility Systems and Subsystems for various Powerpack configurations. This role involves Concept Definition, Architecture, and System-level delivery for diverse ground combat vehicles.

You will work with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and lead documentation and reporting while supporting program milestones and gate reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 7–10+ years engineering experience with 4+ years in industrial controls.
• Experience with mobility system components and controls development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement controls solutions for Mobility configurations.
• Liaise with suppliers of Powerpack modules and components.
• Interface with IPT lead, Systems Engineers and project leadership.
• Support milestones, gateways, and program reporting.
• Document findings and outcomes using GDLS processes.
• Travel up to 15% domestically and abroad.
