Job summary

Nimber is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Mobile to own the mobile platform architecture and tooling across iOS and Android. You will lead the evolution of the React Native app, collaborating with multiple product teams to release features faster, more securely, and with improved DX/UX.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, native module integration, and AI-assisted development to empower engineers of varying experience. Porto or Lisbon locations, Portugal.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in mobile app development using React Native and TypeScript.
• Knowledge of React Native/Expo ecosystems, architecture, tooling and workflows.
• Experience maintaining and integrating native modules; CI/CD and testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and evolution of a React Native app for iOS and Android.
• Drive mobile architecture, tooling, dependencies, and development environments.
• Improve developer experience and enable faster feature delivery.
• Maintain native modules and ensure platform reliability and maintainability.
• Oversee end-to-end mobile lifecycle: testing, CI/CD, builds, releases, monitoring.
• Collaborate with product teams and provide technical guidance and hands-on support.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools to boost productivity and code quality.
• Analyze usage data to identify improvements and set measurable priorities.
