Nimber in Lisbon is seeking an experienced Android Native Engineer to design, build, and deploy mobile applications used by thousands of users.

You will work with cross-functional teams to shape architecture, write clean, testable code, and continuously improve the product while mentoring peers.

Fluent English is required and German is a plus; join an international, healthy, friendly workplace with opportunities for growth.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of experience as a native Android developer with Java and Kotlin.
• Strong knowledge of modern mobile architectures (MVC, MVP, MVVM) and test tooling.
• MAD skills: Jetpack Compose, Room, Dagger/Hilt, Retrofit, Kotlin Coroutines and Flows.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, Git and CI/CD processes.

• Develop high quality, reliable, fast, scalable and responsive software.
• Maintain and improve different mobile applications within the company scope.
• Ability to code following different architectural design patterns.
• Writing testable code and ensuring the test coverage stays at the agreed level.
• Be committed and contribute to maintain and improve Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment.
• Show a constant interest in learning new things and try proof of concepts towards to improve the products and the technology strategy inside the company.
• Be a mentor for other engineers and work in multidisciplinary teams along with other talented professionals such as developers, analysts, testers, in an agile-minded environment.
