Imaginary Cloud, a remote‑first software development company, seeks a Mobile Developer with 5+ years of Flutter experience to build world‑class mobile apps for iOS and Android. You will work across client projects, implement robust architectures, and contribute to clean code, testing, and CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Mobile Development experience.
• 3+ years of extensive hands-on experience using Flutter.
• Strong command of Dart syntax, OOP, null-safety, async/await and generics.
• Deep understanding of the Flutter framework and widget tree.
• Experience with State Management solutions (BLoC, Riverpod, Provider).
• Experience consuming RESTful APIs and handling errors.
• Experience with local data persistence (SQLite, Hive, Isar, SharedPreferences).
• Proficiency in writing well‑designed code and Flutter testing (Unit/Widget/Integration).
• Experience setting up CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps (Fastlane, Codemagic, GitHub Actions, Bitrise).
• End‑to‑end release process including App Store and Play Store deployments.
• Proficiency with AI tooling to accelerate development.

Responsibilities

• Develop mobile applications end‑to‑end for iOS and Android.
• Solve problems and design scalable mobile architectures.
• Engage with clients and internal teams during development.
• Maintain code quality with tests and CI/CD practices.
• Participate in release management and app distribution.

We would love to have you onboard if you have hands‑on experience in the following areas:

5+ years of Mobile Development experience

• 3+ years of extensive hands‑on experience using Flutter
• Strong command of Dart syntax, Object‑Oriented Programming (OOP), sound null‑safety, asynchronous programming (async/await, Future, Stream), generics, and extension methods.
• Deep understanding of the Flutter framework: widget tree, stateful vs. stateless widgets, custom widgets, keys, rendering pipeline, and efficiently managing rebuilds.
• Solid experience with modern State Management solutions (e.g., BLoC, Riverpod, or Provider) and scalable mobile architectures.
• Experience consuming RESTful APIs (using http or dio), handling error logic, retry mechanisms, and request interceptors.
• Experience with local data persistence and caching (e.g., SQLite, Hive, Isar, or SharedPreferences).
• Proficiency in writing well‑designed code with strong experience in the Flutter testing ecosystem (Unit, Widget, and Integration Testing).
• Proven experience setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications (e.g., Fastlane, Codemagic, GitHub Actions, or Bitrise).
• Hands‑on experience with the end‑to‑end release process, including managing certificates, provisioning profiles, and deploying applications to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
• Outstanding proficiency in using Agentic AI tools like Cursor IDE and Claude Code to accelerate code development, refactoring, and complex debugging.
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
• Nice to have: familiarity with native mobile languages (Kotlin/Java for Android, Swift/Objective‑C for iOS) to handle MethodChannels and platform‑specific integrations.
