Winthrop Technologies in Sines, Portugal is seeking an experienced MEP Lead to oversee mechanical, electrical and plumbing activities across the project lifecycle for our Europe-wide data centre initiatives.

You will lead multi-disciplinary teams, coordinate design and construction, ensure safety and quality compliance, and drive commissioning readiness toward a successful handover of critical MEP systems on landmark projects.

Qualificações

• 10+ years' experience in large-scale construction or data centre projects with a strong MEP focus.
• Proven leadership experience managing multi-disciplinary teams.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems and installation methodologies.
• Experience with data centre, industrial, or mission-critical projects is desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and coordinate MEP services across design, construction, and commissioning.
• Manage the MEP project team including subcontractors, engineers, and supervisors.
• Oversee technical reviews, quality checks, and progress reporting.
• Ensure compliance with project specs, safety regulations, and procedures.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and stakeholders for alignment.
• Review and approve MEP design documentation and method statements.
• Identify and resolve design or construction issues to maintain momentum.
• Drive commissioning readiness and smooth handover of MEP systems.
• Support planning, forecasting, and progress tracking to hit milestones.
