Volkswagen Group Services in Lisbon is looking for an experienced Mendix Developer to join our Smart Cloud Factory Team. You will design and build Mendix applications, collaborating with analysts to deliver enterprise-scale, high-quality software solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3.5+ years of Mendix Platform experience on enterprise-grade applications.
• Strong knowledge of low-code development and web technologies (JavaScript, HTML, JQuery, CSS).
• Experience with SQL, data integrations and API development; REST/SOAP.
• Familiar with SDLC and agile methodologies; strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Mendix certifications are a plus; knowledge of cloud tech (AWS) is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and objectives.
• Take a leading role in implementing Mendix initiatives for clients.
• Design and develop Mendix applications with best practices and maintainable code.
• Create intuitive UIs using Mendix Studio or Studio Pro for seamless UX.
• Implement business logic and workflows using Mendix microflows and server actions.
• Integrate data from various sources into Mendix applications.
• Perform testing, debugging and troubleshooting to resolve issues.
• Optimize application performance and ensure scalability for growth.
• Collaborate with front-end/back-end developers and designers.
• Stay up-to-date with Mendix updates and industry trends.
