IQVIA is seeking a Senior Medical Director in Portugal to provide strategic medical and scientific leadership in Rheumatology. You will drive early engagement with clients, develop proposals in response to RFPs, and act as a consultant across the R&D lifecycle and clinical trials.

The role requires a terminal MD in Rheumatology with 10+ years of experience in pharma/CRO settings and demonstrated leadership in strategic initiatives and proposal development.

Qualifications

• Requires MD with Rheumatology training and terminal degree.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in pharma/CRO.
• Experience in leading strategic initiatives and proposals.

Responsabilités

• Work independently of the therapeutic area head.
• Lead strategic proposal development with the proposal team.
• Participate in client proposal bid defense meetings as leader and SME.
• Act as consultant throughout R&D lifecycle and clinical trials.
• Formulate clinical development plans and lead Center of Excellence strategy.
