Winthrop Technologies is seeking a Mechanical Supervisor for a flagship data centre project in Sines, Portugal. You will oversee mechanical installation activities, drive safety and quality standards, and work closely with project teams and subcontractors to deliver on schedule.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of supervisory experience, strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills, and a proven ability to coordinate subcontractors on large-scale construction sites.

Qualificações

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a Mechanical Supervisor role.
• Strong leadership, communication, and people-management skills.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement abilities with a collaborative approach.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and site-based mechanical activities.
• Understanding of mechanical building services and installation practices.
• Data centre experience desirable; other large-scale construction acceptable.

Responsabilidades

• Lead toolbox talks and promote safety on site.
• Coordinate daily/weekly mechanical activities to ensure safe, high-quality project delivery.
• Prepare and present weekly progress reports with milestones and risks.
• Collaborate with trades and stakeholders for site coordination.
• Develop two-week look-ahead schedules to support planning.
• Monitor labour resources to meet project demands.
• Ensure workmanship, quality, and compliance across installations.
• Manage subcontractor performance and drive productivity.
• Escalate variations, delays, and programme impacts promptly.
• Verify materials/equipment meet specs and are stored properly.
• Ensure subcontractor plant/tools are certified and fit for purpose.
