Amadeus is seeking a Senior Manager, Hardware Deployment to lead global hardware deployment initiatives across the AirOps portfolio, powering Self Service, Seamless Journey, and Border Management solutions worldwide.

You will build and mentor a high-performing team, own end-to-end deployment strategy, coordinate with Product, R&D, and Operations, manage risks and budgets, and ensure safety and quality across airport platforms.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's level degree in a relevant engineering field or equivalent experience.
• Project Management and Health & Safety accreditation.
• 10+ years in air transport hardware deployment or similar.
• Proven leadership of global teams and complex deployments.

Job Title Senior Manager, Hardware Deployment

Summary

Lead global hardware deployment initiatives across the Amadeus AirOps portfolio, powering Self Service, Seamless Journey, and Border Management solutions worldwide. Build and inspire a high‑performing deployment team to deliver projects on time, drive customer satisfaction, and secure revenue outcomes. Own the end‑to‑end deployment strategy, including stakeholder alignment, resource planning, risk management, and governance across a complex global landscape. Champion quality, innovation, and continuous improvement while acting as a trusted hardware deployment expert across AirOps.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing global hardware deployment team.
• Deliver complex deployment projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Manage deployment planning, prioritization, and resource allocation across the portfolio.
• Identify and mitigate delivery, technical, and operational risks.
• Provide regular status updates and performance reporting to stakeholders.
• Support cutover planning, testing, and production deployments.
• Own deployment cost estimates and resource forecasts.
• Act as the technical expert for hardware deployment solutions and airport systems.
• Drive resolution of complex technical and operational challenges.
• Conduct feasibility assessments and contribute to strategic decision‑making.
• Provide customer and on‑site support during critical deployment phases.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and deployment standards.
• Partner with customers to define requirements and implementation plans.
• Collaborate with Product, R&D, and operational teams to improve delivery outcomes.
• Drive continuous improvement, scalability, and standardization of deployment processes.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships and mentor teams across the organization.

About the ideal candidate:

• University degree in Electromechanical Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Accredited in Project Management methodologies and Health & Safety
• 10+ years of experience in the Air Transport Industry
• 10+ years of proven people management and senior leadership experience
• Recognized expert in self‑service, electromechanical, and baggage handling hardware solutions
• Strong expertise in Auto Bag Drop, kiosks, biometrics, self‑service, and automation
• Solid understanding of the airport ecosystem and airline operational environments
• Knowledge of software development and hardware manufacturing life cycles
• Strong understanding of airline IT systems, competitive products, and business practices (Reservations, Inventory, DCS)
• Excellent written and spoken English, with strong communication skills at all organizational levels
• Willingness and availability to travel as required.
