Deel is hiring a Senior Manager of Corporate Accounting to oversee key accounting functions and financial reporting, ensuring GAAP compliance and timely close. You will lead a team of accountants, collaborate with cross-functional partners, and drive improvements to Deel's accounting infrastructure.

Qualificações

• CPA designation or equivalent professional accounting credential.
• 6+ years of accounting experience with at least 2+ years in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Advanced knowledge of US GAAP, financial reporting, and accounting principles.
• Proven experience leading and developing accounting teams.
• Experience with enterprise accounting software (NetSuite, QuickBooks, or similar).
• Experience with tax compliance and working with external advisors and auditors.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial data to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Own the monthly and quarterly close process, validating key financial line items.
• Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis tied to integration-generated events.
• Prepare, review and support external audit processes related to finance integration outputs.
• Design, validate, and QA financial figures generated by Deel’s internal finance integration platform.
• Define accounting logic governing financial events before changes go live and ensure GAAP compliance.
• Partner with engineering and product teams to validate financial events feed data into the general ledger.
• Identify data gaps and drive cross-functional solutions to reduce manual reconciliation and boost automation.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of accountants, setting performance expectations.
