Noesis is seeking an experienced Linux Systems Administrator to manage incidents, apply patches, and optimize Linux-based infrastructure. You will handle updates, monitoring, backups, and deployments, contributing to robust operations and reliable services.

The ideal candidate has a degree in CS or engineering, 5+ years’ Linux experience (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu), strong scripting (Bash/Python), familiarity with Ansible, and solid communication skills in English.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's or Master's in CS, Eng, or related field.
• 5+ years of Linux sysadmin experience (Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu).
• Strong troubleshooting and incident resolution skills.
• Experience with updates, patch management, monitoring, and tuning.
• Experience with server maintenance, backups, and disaster recovery.
• Familiarity with automation tools (Ansible) and scripting (Bash, Python).
• Excellent self-documentation and communication skills; fluent in English.

Main Tasks And Responsibilities

• Managing and resolving daily incidents and service requests related to Linux systems.
• Performing routine system administration tasks, including updates, patching, and monitoring.
• Supporting server maintenance, backups, and performance optimization.
• Contributing to the documentation of procedures, changes, and configurations.
• Assisting with the deployment and configuration of new Linux-based services or infrastructure.
• Escalating complex issues in line with internal escalation procedures.

Profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of proven experience in Linux system administration (Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu, or similar).
• Strong expertise in troubleshooting, incident resolution, and service request management.
• Solid knowledge of system updates, patch management, monitoring, and performance tuning.
• Experience with server maintenance, backup strategies, and disaster recovery.
• Familiarity with automation and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible).
• Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, or similar).
• Ability to document processes, procedures, and configurations clearly.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
