Job summary

CONKORD is seeking a Senior Mobile Developer (Kotlin) to join our team in Lisbon or Porto. You will design, develop, and improve high-quality Android applications, focusing on scalable mobile solutions and modern Android architectures.

You will work with Jetpack Compose, MVVM, and Clean Architecture, integrate REST APIs, contribute to CI/CD, and collaborate with international teams on AI-assisted coding initiatives while delivering impact for clients across industries.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of mobile development experience with Kotlin and Android.
• Experience with Android SDK, Android Studio and modern Android development practices.
• Proficiency with Jetpack Compose, Coroutines and Flow.
• Knowledge of MVVM, Clean Architecture and software design principles.
• Experience integrating REST APIs and working with JSON.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated mobile deployment.
• Knowledge of DI frameworks such as Hilt or Dagger.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality Android applications using Kotlin.
• Build scalable and maintainable mobile solutions following modern Android practices.
• Implement UIs with Jetpack Compose and/or Android Views.
• Integrate REST APIs and backend services.
• Apply MVVM and Clean Architecture.
• Implement automated tests to ensure quality, performance, and reliability.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers, backend developers, and product teams.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and release processes.
• Leverage AI-assisted coding tools to improve productivity and code quality.
• Participate in code reviews and technical decisions.
