Job summary

Komodo Consulting is seeking a Senior Mobile Developer (Android) to join a technology project in Portugal. You will build high-quality Android apps using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, and shape robust MVVM architectures for scalable solutions.

You will work in a hybrid setup (Lisbon/Hybrid Office) and collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams to deliver technically feasible, high-impact features. You will own features from development to deployment and contribute to testing and release

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Kotlin with exposure to Kotlin Multiplatform.
• Experience building declarative UIs with Jetpack Compose and Compose Multiplatform.
• Strong understanding of asynchronous programming with Coroutines or RxJava.
• Solid grasp of MVVM and common architectural patterns.
• Experience with unit and UI testing practices and tools.
• Knowledge of SOA, design patterns, and core data structures.
• Experience in cross-functional, feature-focused teams.
• Familiarity with test-driven development and continuous delivery.
• Ability to collaborate with clients to refine technical requirements.
• English proficiency at B2 level or above.

• Build high-quality, scalable Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Design and implement robust architectures (MVVM) for maintainable solutions.
• Deliver smooth UX with thoughtful patterns and fluid interactions.
• Write clean, testable code with strong unit and UI test coverage.
• Own features from development through deployment and maintenance.
• Collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact solutions.
• Contribute to architectural and design discussions and decisions.
• Proactively diagnose and resolve production issues to maintain stability.
