Empa-T is seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to join an international Insurance project. You will contribute to a risk exchange platform, translating business needs into robust technical solutions and driving evolution within a cross-functional team.

You will work closely with Product Owners and stakeholders in an Agile environment, delivering scalable Java-based solutions and leveraging Azure DevOps for CI/CD and collaboration. Remote work within Portugal is available.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of professional Java development experience.
• Solid experience with Agile methodologies, Scrum.
• Experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD and team collaboration.
• Strong knowledge of SQL databases.
• Experience with MongoDB.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and enhance insurance-focused products within a risk exchange platform.
• Build scalable, high-performance Java-based solutions.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specs.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes and ensure high-quality software deliveries.
• Use Azure DevOps to support CI/CD, deployment, and collaboration.
• Implement and optimize SQL and MongoDB databases for insurance data.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Contribute to continuous improvement across the development team.
• Keep up to date with software engineering best practices and emerging technologies.
