Empa‑T is seeking experienced Java Developers to join an international project modernizing a strategic data management platform for the Banking & Financial Services sector. You will work on backend architectures, APIs, and data exposure, integrating with external data providers in a hybrid, cross-functional team.

The role emphasizes scalable, secure services, CI/CD practices, and collaboration with business users to ensure high-quality solutions.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of experience in Java Development.
• Strong expertise in Java Spring / Spring Boot.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL (PostgreSQL).
• Experience designing and developing REST APIs.
• Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, including CI/CD.
• Experience in Microservices Architecture.
• Experience with Docker and containerized environments.
• Experience working with cloud platforms.
• Frontend technologies is a plus, preferably Angular.
• Comfortable working in hybrid roles involving technical leadership, development, and business interaction.
• French (nice to have)

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and scale robust backend architectures.
• Develop and maintain applications using Java Spring Framework.
• Design and implement APIs and data exposure solutions.
• Contribute to the industrialization of software delivery processes following CI/CD best practices.
• Collaborate with business users and stakeholders during validation and testing phases.
• Ensure solution performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
• Participate in architectural and technical decisions as a senior contributor or technical lead.
• Work closely with cross-functional Agile teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Support the adoption of modern software engineering practices, including microservices, automated testing, and version control.
