Salve.Inno Consulting is seeking a hands-on Senior Java Engineer to design, build and ship production code across multiple microservices in a distributed cloud-native environment. You will leverage Java as the primary language and contribute to Python services when needed.

You will influence architecture, mentor engineers and collaborate with Product Owners to deliver scalable backend solutions on AWS, using Kubernetes and Docker for deployment.

Qualificações

• At least 5 years of backend engineering experience.
• Strong, recent and hands-on Java experience.
• Proven experience designing and developing microservices or distributed systems.
• Professional experience contributing to production Python codebases.
• Strong knowledge of AWS and cloud-native application architecture.
• Solid hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Experience designing and integrating REST APIs.
• Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern software-delivery practices.
• Experience influencing architecture or leading technical decisions.
• Ability to review code and mentor other engineers.
• Strong understanding of testing, maintainability and production code quality.
• Comfortable working across several services and technical priorities simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills with technical and product stakeholders.
• English proficiency (C1+).

Responsabilidades

• Design, build and maintain scalable backend services and APIs, primarily in Java.
• Write production-quality code as a core part of your daily work.
• Contribute to Python services and codebases when required.
• Work across three to four interconnected microservices.
• Make and influence technical and architectural decisions.
• Break down complex requirements and guide their technical implementation.
• Review code and establish strong engineering standards.
• Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance.
• Collaborate with Product Owners to evaluate requirements and delivery approaches.
• Build and operate cloud-native services, primarily on AWS.
• Deploy and run containerised applications using Kubernetes and Docker.
• Work with DevOps on CI/CD, deployment, scalability and reliability.
• Use data and analytics to support technical decisions.
• Contribute to testing, documentation and SDLC improvements.
• Support AI-assisted engineering tools where appropriate.
