EPAM Systems in Lisbon, Portugal is seeking a Java Developer – Electronic Equities to join a hybrid team. You will develop real-time data applications for regulatory and monitoring reports in the equity markets, ensuring timely delivery, data accuracy and high system performance.

Qualificações

• Minimum 5 years of software development experience with Java 8+.
• Solid understanding of agile methodologies, requirement analysis and testing practices.
• Experience with QA approaches including unit, integration and end-to-end testing.
• Knowledge of reporting or business intelligence platforms.
• Familiarity with containerization/orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficiency in CI/CD practices, Maven, Git and Shell scripting.
• Understanding of JavaScript and front-end frameworks such as Angular or React.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain real-time data applications to support client reporting functionality.
• Ensure the reliability, scalability and performance of the platform and components.
• Follow agile development practices including analysis, documentation, development, testing and peer reviews.
• Implement and maintain robust unit and integration testing processes.
• Collaborate with production support teams for release management and maintenance issue resolution.
• Engage with business stakeholders to understand requirements and provide L3 support when required.
• Contribute to system enhancements and new feature development aligned with regulatory reporting requirements.
