EPAM Systems in Lisbon, Portugal, is seeking a Java Developer – Electronic Equities to join a hybrid team. You will work on a Client Reporting application delivering regulatory and monitoring reports for equity markets, focusing on timely delivery, data accuracy and high system performance in an agile environment.

The role requires 5+ years of Java experience, familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes, CI/CD with Maven and Git, and exposure to front-end frameworks such as Angular or React.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of software development with a strong Java background (8+).
• Solid understanding of agile methodologies, requirements analysis and testing practices.
• Experience with QA approaches including unit, integration and end-to-end testing.
• Knowledge of reporting or business intelligence platforms.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
• CI/CD with Maven, Git, and shell scripting.
• Exposure to JavaScript front-end frameworks like Angular or React.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain real-time data applications to support client reporting functionality.
• Ensure reliability, scalability and performance of the platform and components.
• Follow agile development practices including analysis, documentation, development, testing and peer reviews.
• Implement and maintain robust unit and integration testing processes.
• Collaborate with production support for release management and issue resolution.
• Engage with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide L3 support.
