Job summary

Noesis Portugal is looking for a seasoned Java/J2EE Developer to join our distributed systems team in Lisbon. You will design technical solutions, implement new requirements and contribute to documentation, while analyzing and resolving defects.

We value a degree in Computer Science, strong SQL skills (MariaDB or similar), experience with JBOSS, SpringBoot and Maven, and hands-on knowledge of JMS, Pulsar, AMQ, JAXB and JPA. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven professional experience in Java/J2EE development.
• Solid knowledge of SQL (MariaDB or similar).
• Experience with JBOSS, SpringBoot and Maven.
• Experience with JMS, Pulsar, AMQ, JAXB and JPA.

Profile

• Degree in Computer Science or similar
• Minimum of 5 years of proven professional experience in JAVA and J2EE development
• Solid knowledge of SQL (MariaDB or similar), JBOSS, SpringBoot and Maven
• Experience with JMS, Pulsar, AMQ, JAXB and JPA
• Knowledge of development and continuous integration tools (IntelliJ, Git, Jenkins, Nexus, Sonar, Tofu), Angular, distributed systems and high availability will be valued
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
