Job summary

Expleo is seeking a Java/J2EE developer with 5–8 years of experience to join a distributed system environment. You will contribute to technical solution design, code, and documentation, while troubleshooting defects and ensuring robust system performance.

Ideal candidates will have strong SQL skills, experience with JBoss and Spring Boot, and hands-on use of Maven. Exposure to modern CI/CD tools and observability practices is a plus.

Responsibilities

• - 5–8 years of proven professional experience in Java and J2EE development.
• - Develop new requirements and projects within a distributed system, including technical solution design.

Essential skills

• - Strong SQL knowledge (MariaDB or other relational databases).
• - Experience with JBoss and Spring Boot.
• - Experience with Maven.

Desired skills

• - Experience with messaging technologies such as JMS, Pulsar, and AMQ.
• - Knowledge of JAXB and JPA.
• - Experience with development and continuous integration tools such as IntelliJ IDEA, Git, Jenkins, Nexus, SonarQube, and OpenTofu (Tofu).
• - Knowledge of Angular.
• - Understanding of distributed systems and high-availability architectures.
• - Experience with Snowflake, vector databases, observability tooling, or LLM gateway patterns.
