Expleo Group in Portugal is seeking a Backend/Java Developer to join our engineering and technology teams in Lisboa. You will contribute to backend services, microservices, REST APIs and GraphQL, delivering robust code and reliable software.

The role requires 2–3+ years of hands-on experience, strong testing practices, CI/CD pipelines, and familiarity with quality gates. Proficiency in English is essential for collaboration across a European team.

Qualificações

• 2–3+ years of backend development experience with Java.
• Strong skills in building microservices and REST APIs.
• Experience with GraphQL and modern testing approaches (unit/integration).
• Solid understanding of CI/CD practices and quality gates.
• Familiarity with SonarQube and/or Snyk for code quality and security.
• Good English communication for collaboration across teams.

Essential Skills

• Professional experience (2–3+ years) as a Backend Developer, Java Developer, or in similar roles;
• Strong proficiency in microservices development, REST APIs, and GraphQL;
• Solid knowledge of unit and integration testing, including CI/CD practices and quality gates;
• Professional experience with tools such as SonarQube and/or Snyk;
• Good communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate, solve problems, and pay attention to detail.
