Expleo is seeking a Java Developer in Portugal to join a global engineering and consulting service. You will develop Java solutions, translate requirements, and ensure code quality through reviews, tests, and CI/CD processes.

You’ll work with SQL/DB2, Git, and AI-assisted development tools within an Agile team. You should be able to work independently, communicate effectively, and contribute to high-quality software in a collaborative environment.

Qualificações

• Solid professional experience as a Java Developer.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with DB2.
• Experience with Git, JUnit and Jenkins.
• Good understanding of software development and testing practices.
• Interest in or practical experience with AI-assisted development.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership.
• Experience working in Agile environments.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and enhance Java solutions, including business logic and GUI components.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions in collaboration with Business Analysts.
• Write clean, maintainable and well-documented code.
• Participate in code reviews and unit/integration testing.
• Work with SQL and DB2, including complex queries and query optimization.
• Use Git and support CI/CD processes with Jenkins.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and defects.
• Work with toolssuch as Jira, Confluence and ServiceNow.
• Explore and use AI-assisted development tools in your daily work.
