Nimber in Lisbon is seeking a Senior Java Developer with 9+ years of backend experience to design, build, and optimize robust services. You will work with Java, Spring Boot, microservices, REST APIs, databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL), and modern CI/CD practices with Docker/Kubernetes.

Strong testing with JUnit/Mockito and TDD is expected. You will collaborate with product and engineering teams, produce clean code and documentation, and help shape scalable backend solutions in a hybrid Lisbon

Qualificações

• 9+ years of professional backend development experience in Java.
• Expertise in Java and Spring Boot.
• Strong background in microservices architectures and REST APIs.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, PostgreSQL and MySQL.
• Hands-on with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficient in CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Unit/integration testing with JUnit/Mockito; TDD and Clean Code practices.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and optimize robust backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop and maintain microservices and RESTful APIs with modern architecture principles.
• Analyze code, identify performance bottlenecks, and implement optimizations.
• Apply development best practices, including TDD, Clean Code, design patterns, and CI/CD.
• Produce clear technical documentation and participate in code reviews.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specs.
