AgileEngine in Portugal (Lisbon) is seeking a Senior Java Developer to design, build, and maintain highly scalable backend services and APIs for an international engineering team. You will work with Java 11+ and Spring Boot in a microservices architecture, optimize PostgreSQL and MongoDB schemas, and collaborate with frontend, product, and QA to deliver production-ready features.

Qualificações

• 4+ years of professional backend software development experience.
• Java 11+ and Spring Boot expertise.
• Backend architecture, microservices, and RESTful APIs.
• Automated unit testing with JUnit and Mockito.
• Performance optimization and memory management skills.
• Experience with PostgreSQL or MongoDB and NoSQL/SQL databases.
• Upper-intermediate English level.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs.
• Translate stories into production-ready applications.
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs and devise solutions.
