AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Java Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs for an international engineering team. You will work with Java 11+ and Spring Boot, optimize PostgreSQL and MongoDB schemas, and implement automated testing.

The role requires expert Java knowledge, performance optimization, and high code quality standards. Collaborate closely with frontend, product, and QA teams to deliver production-ready features, and participate in peer code

Qualificações

• 4+ years of professional backend development
• Expert-level Java 11+ and Spring Boot
• Experience with backend architecture, Microservices, and RESTful APIs
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Experience with automated unit testing using JUnit and Mockito
• Understanding of performance issues, memory management, and code optimization
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or other relational/NoSQL databases
• Effective communication in an international environment
• Upper-intermediate English proficiency

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain highly scalable, secure backend services and APIs
• Translate application storyboards and use cases into production-ready applications
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions
• Collaborate with frontend, product, and QA teams to deliver end-to-end features
• Participate in peer code reviews to ensure code quality
• Maintain and optimize database schemas, queries, and data architecture
