Capgemini Portugal is launching a new Tech Hub in Porto. We seek an experienced backend developer to build scalable microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and modern cloud-native stack.

You will design REST APIs, implement event-driven integrations, and drive quality through code reviews and architecture decisions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment, focusing on system stability, observability, and continuous improvement, while mentoring peers and delivering

Qualificações

• 5+ years of backend software development experience.
• Strong Java, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot expertise.
• Experience designing microservices-based applications.
• REST APIs and event-driven architectures (Kafka preferred).
• Understanding of distributed systems and integration patterns.
• Experience with cloud-native technologies, CI/CD, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ownership mindset.
• Excellent communication and collaboration in agile teams.
• Fluent in English.

• Develop, enhance, and maintain scalable backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices.
