Job summary

Decskill is expanding its IT security practice and seeks a senior security professional with strong experience in cloud security, IAM, and SSDLC. The role involves coordinating security assessments, defining security requirements, and guiding application teams on proper controls.

Qualifications

• Degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 7+ years of professional experience in IT and information security, preferably with cloud products and large international organisations.
• Strong knowledge of information security standards and frameworks such as ISO 27001.
• Experience in IAM and access controls.
• Experience conducting security assessments and coordinating testing.
• Knowledge of encryption methods and secure communication protocols.
• Strong SSDLC understanding.
• Experience in vulnerability management and remediation tracking.
• Ability to define security requirements and support application teams.
• Experience assessing product security posture and ensuring alignment with standards.
• Ability to create and maintain clear security documentation and processes.
• Strong coordination, planning, analytical and organisational skills.
• Ability to summarise complex security information and communicate with technical teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to work in multicultural, international, distributed teams.
• Results-oriented with commitment to scope, deadlines and quality.
• English proficiency at C1 level.
• Availability for occasional travel.

Requirements

• Degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of professional experience in Information Technology and Information Systems Security, preferably involving cloud products and large international organisations.
• Strong knowledge of information security standards and frameworks, such as ISO 2700x.
• Experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM) and access controls.
• Experience conducting security assessments and coordinating security testing.
• Knowledge of encryption methods and secure communication protocols.
• Strong understanding of the Secure Software Development Life Cycle (SSDLC).
• Experience in vulnerability management, including defining remediation plans and tracking their implementation.
• Ability to define security requirements and support application teams in implementing security controls.
• Experience assessing product security posture and ensuring alignment with organisational security standards.
• Ability to create and maintain clear security documentation, processes, and procedures.
• Strong coordination, planning, analytical, and organisational skills, with attention to detail.
• Ability to summarise complex security information and communicate effectively with technical teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to work in multicultural, international, and geographically distributed teams.
• Results-oriented approach, with a commitment to agreed scope, deadlines, and deliverable quality.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, at C1 level.
• Availability for occasional travel, depending on project needs.
