Job summary

KCS IT in Lisbon is seeking a Senior Business Analyst with Insurance experience to join our hybrid team. You will map insurance processes, capture requirements, create user stories and acceptance criteria, and liaise between business stakeholders and IT teams to ensure value delivery.

The role requires strong domain knowledge, fluent Portuguese and English, and the ability to work in agile or waterfall environments. You’ll contribute to innovative insurance projects across clients.

Qualifications

Mandatory experience as a Business Analyst in the Insurance sector.
Strong knowledge of insurance processes, products and operations.
Experience gathering, analyzing and documenting requirements.
Hands-on in creating and managing User Stories and Acceptance Criteria.
Understanding of IT concepts, software development lifecycles and integrations.
Experience with Agile/Scrum and/or Waterfall methodologies.
Familiar with Jira, Azure DevOps or similar tools for backlog & board management.
Understanding of testing processes: Unit, Functional and UAT.
Effective communication with both business and technical stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Fluent Portuguese and English are mandatory.
