Airswift is seeking a Senior Installation Engineer in Lisbon, Portugal for a minimum 9-month assignment within an offshore and subsea transport and installation environment. You will lead Installation & Construction engineering across multiple projects, tenders and studies, owning installability reviews, engineering readiness and delivery within SURF and vessel operations.

This role offers exposure to technically complex installation scopes, cross-functional interfaces and offshore campaigns,

Qualificações

• Master's degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• 6–8 years offshore or subsea installation experience.
• Strong background in Subsea Umbilicals, Risers and Flowlines and vessel operations.
• Experience leading installation engineering across projects, tenders and studies.
• Experience in risk assessment, mitigation and management of change.
• Experience supporting design reviews, HAZIDs and constructability/readiness reviews.

Job Title: Senior Installation Engineer Duration: Minimum 9 months Location: Lisbon, Portugal

This opportunity sits within an engineering environment focused on offshore and subsea transport and installation activities. The role will lead Installation & Construction engineering across projects, tenders and studies, with responsibility for installability reviews, engineering readiness and delivery within SURF and vessel operations. This position offers exposure to technically complex installation scopes, cross-functional interfaces and offshore campaign support.

Required Education:

• Master's degree or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline

Required Experience:

• Professional experience of at least 6-8 years in the offshore or subsea installation industry
• Strong technical background in Subsea Umbilicals, Risers and Flowlines and vessel operations, including design related to installation and construction activities
• Track record in engineering umbilical, flexible lay and lifting operations
• Experience leading and coordinating installation engineering activities across projects, tenders and studies
• Experience in risk assessment, mitigation management and management of change
• Experience supporting design reviews, product HAZIDs and constructability or readiness reviews

Required Skills:

• Ability to lead a multi-discipline engineering team
• Capability to act as a key technical interface across project packages and client technical discussions
• Strong understanding of installation methodologies, installability assessments and operational readiness
• Ability to monitor engineering performance against budgeted hours and report scope progress
• Clear verbal and written communication in English
• Ability to coach and guide less experienced engineers through project challengesAbility to work effectively with multiple internal departments within a global organisation
• Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Required Certifications:

• Offshore training and certification (BOSIET) as required to attend offshore campaigns

Preferred Qualifications:

• Portuguese language capability
