Collective Work in Lisbon is seeking Senior Installation Engineers to lead offshore installation activities across packages for projects, tenders and studies. The freelance role requires coordinating constructability reviews, risk assessments and interface management.

The role requires a Master’s degree in Engineering and 6–8 years’ offshore or subsea experience, SURF and vessel operations, and leadership of multidisciplinary teams. Fluent English; Portuguese is a plus.

Competenze

• Master’s degree in Engineering (or equivalent).
• 6–8 years offshore or subsea installation experience.
• Strong SURF and vessel operations experience.
• Experience with umbilical/flexible lay operations and lifting operations.
• Constructability, risk assessment, and Management of Change experience.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Fluent English; Portuguese is a plus.
• MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Valid BOSIET or equivalent offshore certification when offshore mobilisation is required.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading installation engineering activities across allocated packages.
• Reviewing the installability of subsea products, tooling and equipment.
• Coordinating constructability reviews, risk assessments, HAZIDs, Design Reviews and readiness reviews.
• Managing engineering schedules, budgets, progress reporting and technical interfaces.
• Supporting procurement plans, RFQs, ITBs and technical bid evaluations.
• Contributing to safe and efficient offshore execution.
• Coaching and mentoring junior installation engineers.

Requirements

The ideal candidate has:

• A Master’s degree or equivalent in Engineering.
• At least six to eight years of experience in offshore or subsea installation engineering.
• Strong experience in SURF and vessel operations.
• Proven experience with umbilical or flexible lay operations and lifting operations.
• Experience with constructability, risk assessment, risk mitigation and Management of Change.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Fluent English. Portuguese is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Valid BOSIET or equivalent offshore certification when offshore mobilisation is required.
