AVENTA seeks a Senior Offshore Installation Engineer to lead installation engineering for two subsea projects in the Norwegian North Sea, including the ITS template and static umbilicals, with offshore execution planned for 2027. You will own installation methods and act as offshore engineer at sea.

Requirements: engineering degree, 4+ years in offshore installation, hands-on subsea/umbilical experience, SURF/SPS knowledge, offshore certification (BOSIET or equivalent), fluent English, and

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in a relevant discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of offshore installation engineering experience.
• Hands-on subsea structure or umbilical installation experience.
• Knowledge of SURF/SPS systems and offshore execution.
• Offshore certification (BOSIET or equivalent).
• Fluent English, written and spoken.

Responsabilités

• Lead installation engineering activities for ITS template and static umbilical scopes.
• Develop installation methodologies, procedures, method statements and task plans.
• Review lift, rigging and sea fastening documentation and validate deliverables.
• Define installation sequences, vessel and deck layouts, and equipment requirements.
• Support constructability, readiness, risk and design reviews.
• Interface with project, vessel and supply chain teams, clients, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Act as Lead Offshore Engineer during the 2027 offshore campaign and ensure compliance with HSE/quality standards.
