Job summary

Farfetch is seeking an experienced security professional to join the Detection, Analysis, and Response Team in Porto. You will lead incident response, conduct threat hunting across cloud and on‑prem environments, and serve as the senior SOC escalation point.

You will work closely with engineering and business teams to implement robust detections and respond rapidly to threats. The role requires 8+ years in information security with a focus on CSIRT or digital forensics, experience with container

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Information Security with at least 5+ years in CSIRT or Digital Forensics
• Experience in host-based investigations across Windows, Linux, and security appliances
• Hands-on experience analyzing security events in AWS, Azure or other major Cloud environments
• Experience with SIEM platforms and developing custom detection use cases
• Deep understanding of container security and orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker)
• Certifications such as GCIH, GCFA, GNFA, CISSP, or OSCP preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis and response to security anomalies, intrusion attempts, and breaches; conduct root-cause analysis and post-incident reporting
• Conduct advanced threat hunting using data from endpoints, servers, cloud and network traffic
• Act as senior escalation point for the SOC, providing expert analysis on complex security tickets
• Improve incident response policies, playbooks, and SOC processes
• Analyze and mitigate web-based security events using CDN security solutions like Akamai or Cloudflare
• Collaborate with engineering and business teams and participate in on-call rotations
